Once in a while I have to re-introduce myself and everything we’re doing so that you guys could be informed. My name is Emmanuel Barbee, I am a professional blogger, an online talkshow host, an upcoming social entrepreneur, a film maker in progress and a new urban author of the book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition available on Amazon. I wrote my book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason why I wrote my book is to promote my virtual Christian socialist organization (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.
I plan on turning my virtual Christian socialist organization into a real Christian business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute. It will have 5 main components:
1.A Social Service component,
2.A Spiritual component (optional for Secular people),
3.A Political component
4.An Entrepreneur component
5.An Entertainment component
Our Mission to eradicate urban violence in Chicago through our programs and services. Our objective to strengthen the black family while improving the black community. Finally, I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money so that I can hire thirty Black Middle Class Professionals within the United States to assist me in the daily operation of my Christian business. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities. Once we’re established in America, I plan on hiring African Immigrants in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 10 African nations. Our goal is to eradicate urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.
The main reason why I created GRCAM is because I got tired of all of the division among Black People. Pan-Africanism was not working for Black Americans I wanted to start a new movement for Black People to unite us based on individuals who cared about solving black issues. I created GRCAM in 1991 on a site called Gopher. I wanted to create an organization which will focus on solving black issues in America. I also wanted to connect with other like-minded African Americans, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Canadians, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Europeans, African Immigrants, Afro-Latinos and Native Africans from around the globe.
I have been on Facebook for 16 years encouraging people on my friends list and people in my social groups to participate in my free webinars on my online talkshow (Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Podcast). Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos is an extension of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.
I use my show to interact with everyone on my friends list as well as to give business owners, church leaders and people that have special talents/skills to share their information with my listeners from the podcast community. After the show I offer my guest speakers an incentive by sharing with them how to create their own podcast and Youtube channel while earning extra revenue. I also assist people on my friends list with creating basic websites all for free. I did not ask for donations instead I encouraged people on my friends list and people in my social groups to support me by purchasing my revised book and read my story (The Solution For Black America) second edition available on Amazon as an e-book for $9.99 or as a soft cover book for $15.00 plus shipping and handling. Unfortunately, many of our people don’t like to read and my book was barely selling so I decided to learn the ins and outs of becoming a film producer and director in order to get my story on the Big screen to reach the masses.
Through this video podcast we’re focusing on solving black issues in America starting in Chicago. On an international front we’re trying to build a bridge between the Diaspora with Continental Africans or Native Africans via Arts, Commerce, and Culture. Once we’re established and this virus is cleaned up we will host African tours. Our objective is to create a genuinely sovereign and self-sufficient African community. Our international programs will focus on encouraging our members from the Diaspora to apply for their vista and passport so that they can travel to African nations and eventually apply for dual citizenship. GRCAI of Africa will help improve Africa’s infrastructure in the areas of building bridges, roads, power lines, clean running water, agricultural technology, solar/wind energy, real estate, tourism, education, healthcare and transportation. We will offer private employment to our members based on our budget and sponsorship. In time, we will expand to Brazil and specific places in the Caribbean such as Barbados, Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica.
Black People are facing discrimination in Asia, Europe and in the United States just look at all of the latest videos we are in the information age. I am doing my best to recruit brave and smart Black People in America to step up and work with me and Sister Rena first in raising the capital to fund our film project so that we can eventually do all of the things which I have written in my revised book. Those who want to remain in America begging the financial elites for reparations, equal protection and jobs for another 52 years be my guest. As for me and my house I will take my Christian business to my ancestral homeland (Africa) there is a mutual benefit for us if we unite and work together to improve Africa.
The talent to rebuild Africa is here; we want to unite the Diaspora with Continental Africans and help Africa return to her rightful place in the world. Without the Diaspora, Africa will continue to languish, and without Africa, the Diaspora will continue to weaken as well.
The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will play a major role in ushering in an African Renaissance in which the Diaspora and the continent pull their collective resources together rather it’s mental, monetary or spiritual, returning back to Africa’s Golden Age.
The countries of Africa will become the standard on which all other countries will operate and strive to become. The time is now to sow seeds of hope, prosperity, peace, and sovereignty and plant them, so in the future, we will reap a mighty harvest for Africa and the Diaspora to prosper from. Please partner with us in making this objective a reality. GRCAI of Africa aim to see Africa control resources and does not have to rely on foreign exploiters who do not serve the best interest of African people. Join us in creating an Africa for the Africans that are at home and abroad.
After much thought and prayers, I’ve decided to take my message to the next level the Big screen in order the reach the masses and by joining Patreon to help grow my audience as well as help fund our film project. Truth be told I can’t do a film during COVID-19. The coronavirus remains a threat we must take serious. I urge everyone to follow the CDC guide lines wear a face mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands. It’s be much easier for me to focus on raising funds during the pandemic. Filling out lengthy grant applications and being at the mercy of those in power who will more than likely want me to water down my message is not an option for me. This is why I am turning to the source people on my friends list and people in my social groups which in large part is the Global Black Family. My focus is not about getting rich and famous, but rather creating a Black business which can be pass down to our members children. I have devoted a bulk of my life to this cause. This Docu-drama is historical, revolutionary, meaningful, and shall rival that of past Black movements. We are sincerely grateful to all supporters, no matter how big or small the donations. We also will sell merchandise to help raise revenue for the film project entitled (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.
The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are deductible to the full extent of the law. This film project is created to raise capital for our nonprofit expenses. The bible say you have not because you ask not well I’m asking! I know all of my hard work will eventually pay off.
It’s not my burden alone but rather a shared burden for I am just one black man with a vision and a plan, it takes a team to make a dream work. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be membership based. Everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
