(Urban Vision 20/20 GRCAI Is Coming)
The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is a virtual Christian socialist organization. We seek to create a sense of national urgency about the genocide which is taken place within our inner-cities in the United States. Our main goal is to turn (GRCAM) into a real Black Christian Business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute. For now we are on social media to Recruit, Inform, and Promote our cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos.
We will achieve our objective through journalism, documentaries, stage plays and social media/ public forums. We strive to educate and enlarge our audience of concern citizens who care about solving black issues once and for all in America. The foundation of this organization is based on the founder and president Emmanuel Barbee revised book (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition. GRCAI aims to create an international film festival, which will display the best of black culture films and videos. From feature films to social documentaries with a range of genres that demonstrate the rich diversity among Black People throughout the African Diaspora. We believe in forming cooperative collaborations with similar community organizations. We will provide community service through food & book drives, distributed promotional tickets, and raised awareness concerning health issues.
GRCAI will help promote local artist such as Actors, Authors, Dancers, Musicians and Poets. GRCAI will serve many functions for the community including audience development, community advocacy, improving government relations, and professional development. GRCAI is governed by our members. Our members consist of a diverse population from the surrounding suburbs and throughout the city of Chicago. This diverse and supportive ecosystem is a strength of our community and encourages us as a service organization to offer a wide variety of services from stage theatre, short films, documentaries and live music performances.
The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be membership based. Everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in this organization this is how we get down. This is Emmanuel Barbee contribution back to his community, society and throughout the African Diaspora. This is more than just a new business endeavor it’s a new system which must be taught to others in order for it to become effective.
