(The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement)

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement mission to eradicate urban violence in Chicago through our educational programs and business services. Phase One, this year we plan on directing and producing our first film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This film is based on Emmanuel Barbee revised book (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition. We are encouraging all GRCAM group members and everyone on Emmanuel’s friends list to get involved with our film project. Other ways to get involved are through our free webinars/Facebook Live Events. We are getting ready to move our groups to the next level The Big Screen. All of Emmanuel’s online groups both Christian and Secular represents the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. As Emmanuel has been saying all the long his objective is to turn his social groups into a real Christian business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute. Our objective is to help strengthen the Black Family while making an impact in the Black Community to improve the quality of life for local residents. Our services will include performing arts, social justice and faith. We value freedom of inquiry, the pursuit of truth and care for others. GRCAI will equip black men and black women to serve and lead with integrity, creativity, competence and compassion in a diverse, interconnected and increasingly urbanized society. GRCAI will provide a safe learning environment, recognizing our responsibilities to one another, to our community, and to the world we share. We value excellence in teaching, learning, and service in the global community. We are committed to continuous improvement and dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and diverse learning opportunities.

To improve economic opportunities in the Black community.

To provide community research and advocacy for local residents.

GRCAI Values:

Christian Faith — The Christian faith is an integral part of our community.

The Individual — As a member of God’s creation, each person is unique and is
blessed with inherent worth.

Integrity — Our community demonstrates the accord between our beliefs
and practices.

Service — Recognizing and addressing the needs of others is a response
to God’s love for us, and a reflection of God’s love for them.

Commitment to Black excellence: We strive for excellence in who we are and what we do. Applying well-learned lessons and skills to achieve new ideas, better solutions and vital answers.

Spiritual Development: Promoting well-formed and strongly held beliefs in one’s faith tradition to deepen others’ relationships with God.

Social Justice: Ensure freedom of inquiry, the pursuit of truth and advocating for those living in the Black community.

Values-based leadership: Ensuring a consistent focus on personal integrity, ethical behavior in business and in all professions, and the appropriate balance between justice and fairness.

Global Black Family: reconnecting with our ancestral homeland (Africa) and providing infrastructure such as building bridging, roads, powerlines, providing solar and wind energy while providing jobs for African youth. We will also expand to the Afro-Caribbean and Brazil.

GRCAI will help fund research that offer innovative and noteworthy exploration into the causes and cures for Sickle Cell Anemia. Our grants would help our scientists with their research and advance them to new levels of discovery.
