(Self-Publisher/Self-Promoter: Emmanuel Barbee Plan B Event 2018)

This evening I completed my last literary event at the Harold Washington Library honoring Chicago’s own Gwendolyn Brooks “No Blue Memories” I networked with upcoming artist and shared my book information with them. As always very few blacks were in attendance.

After January first I will re-start my online talkshow “Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos” It’s my hope to offer a wide range of topics, including business, finance, health, community based solutions, employment and spirituality which interest our listeners broadcasting throughout the United States and around the globe.

If you would like to be on my show to promote your business, ministry, music or just share your special talents/skills with my listeners from the podcast community I recommend that you send me your email address to my Facebook inbox and I will make arrangements through email to have you on the show.

It’s my hope that through my story I can connect with other like-minded individuals, Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist. I am also looking for legitimate artists such as film directors, producers, actors, stage managers, fundraisers, technical directors and marketers across Illinois and beyond who will support our work. Our nonprofit component will enable us to deliver a sustainable plan for local education, research, and policy change efforts to promote healthy life styles and offer private employment within the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago to our members. GRCAI will address challenging social issues as we prepare to face new obstacles in the future.

Individuals who have purchased my revised book and agree with my plan to improve our inner cities in America are considered virtual members until we are up and running in the city of Chicago by then we should have chapters in 10 cities. Members will receive monthly e-news letter and an invitation to attend our annual membership meeting.

I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, in order for me to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my concern to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.

The mission of the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago is to help eradicate urban violence while at the same time meet the social needs of the urban communities and families through community advocacy, education and research if given a chance. Whether it’s reducing black on black crime or improving access to quality programs and services, GRCAI will be committed to advancing social policies to protect inner city youth and their families starting in the city of Chicago today and for future generations.

Guiding Principles:

Credibility

We will practice evidence-based community service to achieve our mission.

Empowerment

We will empower at risk youth and those who care about them through our programs and services.

Innovation

We will drive practical and visionary solutions to improve our inner cities starting in Chicago and throughout the Mid-West and in time on the African continent to families that want to utilize our programs and services.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will be membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition which is available on Amazon for $15.00 plus shipping and handling also it’s available as an ebook for $9.99 My revised book is the foundation of my Christian organization. In my book I provide a 21st century plan on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence in Chicago under-served communities while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families we will serve if given a chance.
