(Modern Black History Maker Emmanuel Barbee)
Emmanuel Barbee is called by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to rebuild our inner cities in America and in the slums in Africa similar to that of Nehemiah who was called by God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah used qualified engineers, architects and inventors to rebuild a new city. Likewise, Emmanuel wants smart and brave individuals on his management team. Mr. Emmanuel Barbee is a professional blogger, an online talkshow host, an upcoming social entrepreneur and a new urban author of the book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. This book is an auto-biography about his experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago. In his book Emmanuel provides a 21st century plan on how his Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence in the city of Chicago while at the same time meet the social needs of the urban communities and families that want to utilize his programs and services if given a chance.
Emmanuel wrote his book for three reasons: One to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason is to promote his virtual Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. He created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, in order for him to connect with other like-minded individuals to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for his cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago until he is able to start his real business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. GRCAI will consist of a nonprofit sector and also a for profit service base business. It will have five components: a Social Service component, a Spiritual component which will be optional for secular people, a Political component, a Entertainment component and a Entrepreneur component. It’s Emmanuel hope that GRCAI will become a permanent infrastructure for our Artist in Chicago who will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta and emerge as a Hub throughout the Mid-West for emerging artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs.
We will offer a variety of programs that nurture the body, mind and spirit. These services include:
* Meditation and mindfulness
*Religious services and spiritual support
*Film making and performing arts
His focus is to create a Black Wall Street within the inner cities his organization is established. He wants to offer quality programs and services to the low income African American community and work directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities his organization will serve. Finally, Emmanuel wrote his book in order to generate capital/seed money so that he can hire thirty professionals within the United States who meet the qualifications he is looking for which are as follows: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist. He is also looking for legitimate Film Directors, Producers, Actors, Stage Managers, Grant Writers/Fundraisers, Technical Directors, Marketers, Accountants, Business Administrators, Social Workers, Financial Planners, Lawyers, Real Estate Brokers and Insurance Agents. After they pass the criminal background checks he will discuss compensation and incentives with them behind closed doors. Emmanuel wants both a nonprofit organization and a For profit organization on the same premises.
GRCAI will be a Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35–40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18–19. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.
Emmanuel wants to make Chicago a model first before he expands to 10 other cities within 10 states within the Midwest. Emmanuel also plan on having African Immigrants in America to assist him in expanding his organization to 10 countries in Africa. Their mission is to eradicate urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities they will serve if given a chance.
Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos online talkshow is an extension of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. Broadcasting on multiple social networks throughout the United States and around the globe. This show will provide insight on how our creative abilities can be used to create tangible change in our communities. These are not just online groups for him to sell his book but rather groups for us to build our own network so we can support one another.
Emmanuel is just one black man with a plan and a vision it takes a team to make a dream work. It’s time for my digital group members and people on my friends list to play your part in this new movement in Black America by purchasing my revised book and reading my story for yourself. Please share my book information with your family, friends, places of worship, and also at your local community center.
I call upon Millennials, Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean, Non-black sympathizers, all Christian denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular people who are interested in working with me just purchase my book and share my book information. I call upon my international friends who reside in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda to encourage your family and friends who live abroad in Europe, Canada and in the United States to purchase my book and read my story.
The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future.
The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be private in order for us to weed out people who don’t care about inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. Part of GRCAI will become a cooperative, governed by an Advisory Board. GRCAI will be membership based and operated for the mutual benefit of our members. Also, any earnings we make are returned to our members in the forms of lower prices and improved services. Our members come first and we will be committed to providing trusted and understandable information. This level of cooperation builds a strong bond between members in the cooperative. We are all working toward the same goals keeping members healthy, informed, and safe.
Everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
