(Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Podcast)

About The Show

This show is an extension of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. Emmanuel launch his show in order to interact with people on his friends list and people in his social groups to give business owners, church leaders and people that have special gifts/talents an opportunity to share their information with his listeners from the podcast community. After the show Emmanuel offers his guest speakers an incentive by sharing with them how to create their own podcast or create their own Youtube channel and earn revenue from it.

He also share his online resources with people on my friends list such as sharing his information about college scholarships/grants; housing; legal services all for free. All he ask is that they support him by purchasing his revised book (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition and share his book information with their family, friends, places of worship and at their local community center this would help speed up the process.

Emmanuel created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement back in November 1991 on a site called Gopher because he was dissatisfied with all of the division taking place among black people he wanted to start a new movement in Black America and throughout the African Diaspora in order to connect with other like minded Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean people who are interested in solving black issues starting in the city of Chicago.

Another reason why Emmanuel created GRCAM was because established black organizations in Chicago refused to work with him. This goal was to make GRCAM a digital platform to empower Black men & Black women who are having a unique experience in America.

Finally, Emmanuel created GRCAM in order to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, as well as for him to network with other like-minded individuals who share his concern to solve black issues at the local level one community one city at a time.

Who are we as Black People? Where did we come from? What is our true history? Where are we endeavoring to go and who have we entrusted to get us there? Who is molding and influencing the minds, hearts and personalities of our children and future generations to come? Why are we face with so many challenges in America as Black People? These are just some of the questions that we will be discuss on this show as we discuss confronting and solving black issues.

But in our conversations on Africa, we must go deeper to the very heart of the inferior, degrading and discriminating position we hold today as Black People, no matter what part of the world we are in, even on the African continent.

What we must understand that we as Black People across the world, have been victims of a mental bondage that has stripped us of our ancient heritage and identity and violently replaced it with the demeaning, and downright racist western/foreign image imposed on us by the financial elites and as Black People must speak out against this.

As Wangari Maathai says in her book The African Challenge, “the challenges of Africa not only stems from national and international policies but also moral, spiritual, cultural and even psychological in nature.” This is because we have suffered an aggressive erosion of our consciousness of being and culture. Without a culture or a history, a people are bound to perish.

As Black People, our story has been told by so many other people that our own voice and our own story tellers have often been drowned out of the conversation and over shadowed by foreign discourse, labels and theories.

The time has come where Black People must start having conversations about who we are, where we are going, what kind of development policies we want for our African nations. We must start to have more conversations that celebrate and honor our diverse cultures. We must change the negative dialogue about Africa into one that is solution-oriented and uplifting. Conversations about our political structures that is free of foreign manipulation.
