(GRCAM vs. The Catholic Church & Evangelical Christians)

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is and foremost a virtual Christian socialist organization. Before I explain in depth about Christian socialism let me explain the big confusion about Christianity in this day and age. Christianity has been hi jack by prosperity preachers and racist theologians who promotes white supremacy and institutionalized racism.

For example, the Religious Conservatives or for better word the Right Wing Evangelical Christians a line themselves with Republicans and they seek to influence politics and public policy with their interpretation of Biblical teachings of Christianity. In the United States, the Christian right is a coalition of conservative Evangelical Protestants and Roman Catholics. The Christian right draws additional support from politically conservative mainline Protestants, and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They are in favor of slavery which many blacks are unaware of.

The importance of Africa to the Catholic Church can be sum up in one word growth. The Pew Research Center predicts by 2050 more than four in 10 Christians will be in sub-Saharan Africa. The growth in Africa is due to its large population and is growing faster than any other continent. The Catholic Church provides hospitals, schools and charities. Yet the sex abuse scandals among the Catholic Church has out weight the good deeds and instead has cast a negative light on the church.

In contrast, the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement only exist online for the time being until I am able to generate enough capital from my revised book and my future film to turn my virtual Christian socialist organization into a real Black Christian Business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute. We will carry a higher standard than the Catholic Church. For example, GRCAI will be membership based everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down.

Mission

To eradicate urban violence in Chicago through our programs and services. We will confront and tackle poverty, institutionalized racism, social inequality and police brutality within the communities we will serve if given a chance.

To strengthen single black families while at the same time meet the social needs of the urban communities and families that want to utilize our programs and services if given a chance.

To rebuild Black Wall Street by providing an infrastructure for aspirating Local Artist and upcoming Black Entrepreneurs in order to make our community better, healthier and safer.

To provide private employment to our clients/members based on our budget and our sponsorship.

To offer a second chance program for ex-offenders of non-violent crimes, former gang members and homeless individuals within the community.

To assist single black families that want to utilize our programs and services.

To promote community advocacy while reconnecting with our ancestral homeland Africa.

To take the lead in providing quality programs and services in the black community.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute seeks to create a sense of national urgency about the genocide taken place in our inner cities of America. We will achieve this through journalism, our films and stage plays and newsletters. We will strive to educate and enlarge our audience of concern citizens who care about solving black issues once and for all.

In America there are 60 million people working less than $15.00 dollars they don’t make a living wage many of them are on food stamps and or living out of there vehicles. 30 million people without healthcare. Social inequality, Police Brutality and institutionalized racism runs deep in American society.

GRCAM is a Christian socialist organization. For me Christian socialism is an authentic form of Christianity. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology.

Jesus/Yeshua told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35–40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Matthew 28: 16–20. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve. We will promote an authentic form of Christianity which is Christian Socialism. We will emphasize the importance of morals and character development for both Christians and Non-Christians. We will also focus on strengthening the black family and focus on solving black issues by promoting a black economic agenda.

Don’t take my word for it search the scriptures for yourself we are in the information age. In the Biblical age elements that would form the basis of Christian socialism are found in both the Old and New Testaments. Old Testament had divided perspectives on the issue of poverty. One part of the Jewish tradition held that poverty was judgment of God upon the wicked while viewing prosperity as a reward for the good, stating that “The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, but the belly of the wicked suffers want” (Prov. 13:25).

However, there are other sections that instruct generosity to the “have nots” of society. The Torah instructs followers to treat neighbors equally and to be generous to have nots, such as stating: You shall not oppress your neighbors but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord (Lev 19:13, 18). He [the Lord your God] executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. Love the sojourner therefore; for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt (Deut. 10:18–19). When you reap in your harvest in the field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it…When you beat your olive trees, you shall not go over the boughs again…When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it afterward; it shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless and the widow. You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; therefore I command you to do this (Deut. 24:19–22).

Some of the Psalms include many references to social justice for the poor: Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked (Ps. 82 (81): 3, 4). Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honour (Ps. 112 (111): 1, 9). Amos emphasizes the need for “justice” and “righteousness” that is described as conduct that emphasizes love for those who are poor and to oppose oppression and injustice towards the poor.

The prophet Isaiah (759–694 B.C.) to whom is attributed the first thirty-nine chapters of the Book of Isaiah (“Proto-Isaiah”), followed upon Amos’ themes of justice and righteousness involving the poor as necessary for followers of God, denouncing those who do not do these things, stating: Even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood…cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow (Isa. 1:15–17). The most important quote of the Old Testament that has been recognized by Christian socialists is the verse from Ecclesiastes 3:13 that describes God as promoting an egalitarian society, stating: It is God’s gift to humankind that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all their toil (Ecc. 3: 13).

In contrast, In the New Testament, Jesus in Matthew 25:31–46 identifies himself with the hungry, the poor, the sick, and the prisoners. Matthew 25:31–46 is a major component of Christianity and is considered the cornerstone of Christian socialism. Another key statement in the New Testament that is an important component of Christian socialism is Luke 10:25–37 that follows the statement “You shall love your neighbour as yourself” with the question “And who is my neighbour?”,and in the Parable of the Good Samaritan Jesus gives the revolutionary response that the neighbour includes anyone in need, even people we might be expected to shun. “Jesus Expels the Moneylenders from the Temple” by Giovanni Paolo Pannini In the Sermon on the Plain, Jesus says, “Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be satisfied” (Luke 6:20, 21). During the New Testament period and beyond, there is evidence that many Christian communities practiced forms of sharing and redistribution.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will make an impact in the Black Community by providing at-risk youth quality programs and services in a safe environment. We will provide sports opportunities while offering such services in health, fitness and education. Our Community and Economic Development team will help empower underserved individuals, black families by developing comprehensive and holistic solutions that address the needs of the community we will serve. GRCAI will be committed to improving the lives of community residents by being an advocate. GRCAI will form cooperative alliances with organizations that have a similar vision as ours. Our objective is to build better communities by improving the quality of life in the communities we serve. We will provide free financial education to teens and adults, we want to give back in ways that have a meaningful and lasting impact.

It’s not my burden alone but rather a shared burden for I am just one black man with a vision and a plan, it takes a team to make a dream work. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this open platform is essential to the African American community and throughout the African Diaspora.

I want to earn credibility through my Christian business before we expand to 10 African Nations. I want my international friends who live in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda to encourage their governments to allow us to have citizenship within 3 years if they are serious about us doing business on the African continent. We as black people must move away from being tribal.

Please encourage your family and friends who reside in Canada, Europe and in the United States to purchase my revised book and for you as well read my story. Be in agreement with me that my book get on the best sellers list this year in Jesus name. My book is the foundation of my future Christian business. Those who agree with my plan/vision make yourself known to me I provide all of my contact information within the book. This will help speed up the process for us to recruit brave and smart African Immigrants in America to assist me in setting up chapters in Africa. We will go through the proper channels with their government to start our (NGO) Non-government organization.

We will offer private employment to our members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, offer solar energy to help our members with their electrical generators and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate the people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. In time, we will expand to Brazil and specific places in the Caribbean such as Barbados, Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Africa will be an effort to assist the diaspora in the ability to shop with, visit, invest in and relocation back to Africa. All of our products and services will be provided by skilled and professional Africans from around the continent. Before the internet connecting with businesses on the African continent had been a challenge. But now more than ever, it’s important for the Diaspora to make the connection physically and economically. GRCAI of Africa, will be there to help arrange your travel, welcome you upon arrival and assist with tours, translators and more.

The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian socialist organization into a real Black Christian Business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, my revised book (The Solution For Black America) second edition and now through my upcoming urban Christian film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.
