(GRCAM vs. Pan Africanism)
It’s time we understand that Pan-Africanism (while being a beautiful thing) is not a political movement but rather a social concept that can at times influence political activity. Pan-Africanism is celebrated throughout the African Diaspora. Pan-Africanism aims to encourage and strengthen bonds of solidarity between all indigenous ethnic groups of African descent. It is based on the belief that African unity is vital to economic, social, and political progress and aims to “unify and uplift” people of African descent. The ideology asserts that the fate of all African people and countries are intertwined. At its core Pan-Africanism is a belief that African people, both on the continent and in the diaspora, share a common history and a common destiny.
Black liberation requires revolution. Revolutions just don’t happen the stage must first be set. More African Americans are abandoning the Democratic Party after waking up from false hope that Obama gave us in 2008. Pan-Africanism never address social class, religion and political affiliation. Now is the time to lead by example and provide real political education to our people who truly want to learn and understand the political end game.
It’s our job as elders in this resurgence of the Black Power Struggle to see the forest beyond the trees. A baby does not know right from wrong but we give thanks to our ancestors for the blessings they did to help mold and shape us into adults. The worst adults are the ones who were beaten and scolded as children instead of being taught.
In contrast, I created (GRCAM) a virtual Christian socialist organization back in November 1991 on a site called Gopher because I was dissatisfied with all of the division taking place among Black People. I wanted to start a new movement in Black America in order to connect with other like minded Progressive African Americans, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Canadians, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Europeans, African Immigrants and Native Africans throughout the African Diaspora. Both my Christian groups & my Secular groups represents the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. This is an authentic black organization first and fore most. Our objective is to solve black issues once and for all starting in America specially Chicago and ten other cities within the Midwest before we expand throughout the African Diaspora. My revised book (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition is the foundation of my virtual Christian socialist organization.
GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders whom I have network with for many years. I need smart boots on the ground I did not create GRCAM to remain behind a computer but rather for us collectively to reclaim our urban community starting in Chicago. GRCAM objective is to unite Progressive African Americans, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Canadians, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Europeans, African Immigrants and Native Africans who are singers, songwriters and political activist into political power at the local level under our political component. GRCAM uses a platform to interact with group members in real time and to empower and restore economic life in the black community. Our goal is as follows:
*Restore economic development in the black community through our programs and services
*Ending urban gentrification of the black community by creating New Black Wall Street
*Create a black family budget among our members to improve their quality of life
*Create a black women’s health programs to address disparities among black mothers and their children
*Restore voting rights for people with non-violent crime who have been released from prison
The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian socialist organization into a real business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow (Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Podcast, my revised book (The Solution For Black America) second edition and now through my upcoming urban Christian film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.
GRCAI will be membership based and everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora. This is more than just a new business endeavor it’s a new system.
