(GRCAM Created For Black America, Africa, And The African Diaspora)

My name is Emmanuel Barbee, I am the founder and president of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. I am also a professional blogger, an online talkshow host of Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Podcast, I’m an upcoming social entrepreneur, a film maker in progress and a new urban author of the book (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition.

This book is the foundation of my Christian business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute. This book is an auto-biography about my experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago. In my book I provide a 21st Century plan on how my Christian business will help eradicate urban violence in Chicago while at the same time meet the social needs of the community and the Black family.

I wrote my book for three reasons: One reason to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason is to promote my virtual Christian socialist organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. I use my online talkshow as a way to interact with people in my Christian groups & Secular groups to network on a global level. GRCAM is a revolutionary 21st Century Kingdom Building, Global Black Unity, and Black Empowerment in order to solve social problems within the Black Community and throughout the African Diaspora.

I got tired of all of the division among Black People I wanted to start a new movement for Black People so I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher. I wanted to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America starting in Chicago. I also wanted to connect with other like-minded African Americans, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Canadians, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Europeans, African Immigrants, Afro-Latinos and Native Africans from around the globe.

GRCAM is a virtual Christian socialist organization. For me Christian socialism is an authentic form of Christianity. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology.

Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35–40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Matthew 28: 16–20. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve. We will promote an authentic form of Christianity which is Christian Socialism. We will emphasize the importance of morals and character development for both Christians and Non-Christians. We will also focus on strengthening the black family and focus on solving black issues by promoting a black economic agenda. GRCAM will focus in the area of Economy, Education, Family, Religion, Entertainment, Employment, Media and Politics.

A People without a VOICE cannot be heard. GRCAM covers politics, news, business and religion, the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement tries to promote newsworthy issues within the back community. My goal is to turn GRCAM into a real Christian business GRCAI the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will fall under Nonprofit Faith Base Organization · Broadcasting & Media Production Company.

Growing up our neighborhood was rough, and like most hoods in America it was full of violence, drugs and poverty that continues today. I decided to share my story online through my social groups on Facebook we are able to show others that you can start a successful business through perseverance, dedication and faith we’re almost there our film will help put us on the map in order for us to reach the Global Black Family. We hope you can see us in you and remember your present challenges or setbacks are not permanent. Always keep in mind that if you work hard, never give up and stay on track, you will succeed!

What We’ve Plan To Accomplish

Through our upcoming urban Christian film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins) we hope that our film will become a hit at the box office so that we can purchase residential and commercial properties; from deals as small as vacant lots to a 170 unit Hotel. In addition, we plan on creating construction company and a property management company. We also plan on starting a trucking company to help bring in passive income monthly. We plan on teaching our students about how to obtain a CDL driver license, purchase a truck, sign up with a 3rd party company and become a successful investor in the trucking business. We believe you can grow into successful entrepreneurs, business owners, real estate investors, and more. We desire to share as much of our knowledge and experiences with you, so that you can become wealth builders for your families. We are proof it’s possible to use your success to reach back and build your community, somebody needs you and your story.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute is based on my experience we are not focus on black celebrities but rather ordinary black law abiding citizens by providing affordable access to state of the art rental co-working space, production studio and office suites, educational services, financial resources, and dedicated community mentors. Our local community members can be equity partners or part-owners through investing. The minimum to invest will be $500.

(GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will have a Nonprofit Cooperative sector and a For Profit Service Based sector. GRCAI will have five components:

1.Social Service component

2.Spiritual component which will be optional for secular people

3.Entertainment component

4.Entrepreneur component

5.Political component

In time a Health & Wellness component and a Media component. Under the For Profit Service Based sector: we will offer state-of-the-art recreational center that will offer bowling, high ropes adventure courses, captivating game rooms featuring the latest video and amusement, stylish billiards, energetic dance rooms and high-quality restaurants, various businesses, onsite childcare and an onsite music recording studio for our students making documentary films and stage plays. In addition, we will host family fun activities including combination deals, birthday parties, weddings and corporate parties/events.

Under the Nonprofit Cooperative: GRCAI will be governed by an Advisory Board. GRCAI will be membership based and operated for the mutual benefit of our members. Also, any earnings we make are returned to our members in the forms of lower prices through our quality programs and services. Our focus is on providing quality goods and services to the low income African American community and working directly with black families that want to utilize our services. Finally, I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money so that I can hire thirty Black Middle Class Professionals within the United States to assist me with the daily operation of my business. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities in America.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute objective is to become the heart of the Black Community on Westside of Chicago specifically in Austin, Garfield Park and North Lawndale. GRCAI also plans on expanding to the Southside of Chicago and send scouts to help replicate the business in order to make Chicago a model for other cities in America. GRCAI will function in the areas of community co-op, community grocery stores, community healthcare and community housing. GRCAI will operate on two fronts a domestic front and on an international front.

On a domestic front within the United States:

To create a sense of national urgency about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America starting in Chicago. We will push for social change through our stories using media and advocacy. We will achieve this through our films, stage plays, journalism to change the narrative. We will strive to educate and enlarge our audience of concern citizens who care about solving black issues in America.

To eradicate urban violence in Chicago through our programs and services.

To tackle poverty, institutionalized racism and police brutality within the Black Community.

To promote economic opportunities in the African American community by becoming an advocate and resource for our members.

To offer a second chance program for ex-offenders of non-violent crimes, former gang members and homeless individuals within the community.

To provide programs and services to strengthen the black family by creating jobs and building a strong economic base.

To heal collectively from this Willie Lynch mentality in America and on the African continent heal from this colonized mentality.

To examine the Amish community, the Asian community and the Jewish community. So that we can practice group economics and form our own code of conduct.

To get our house in order first before we invite none black sympathizers into our space.

On an international front:

(GRCAI of Africa) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Africa plan on hiring African immigrants in America to encourage the Diaspora to set up a chapter in South Africa and eventually in 9 other African Nations Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda.

I am encouraging my international friends to put pressure on African governments to allow the Diaspora to have citizenship within 5 years if they are serious about us doing business on the African continent.

GRCAI of Africa will go through the proper channels with the African government to start our (NGO) Non-government organization. We are determined to work with our disadvantaged brothers and sisters in the society to improve and enhance the capacity for self-development.

To promote GRCAI of Africa to the African people
To fight against corruption To nurture young Africans by conducting mentorship programs and various youth activities across Africa

To promote education through establishing learning centers, book donations, publications to needy young people to enable them to achieve their academic goals.

To promote health among the people living in rural and low-income urban areas by organizing for medical camps and health awareness campaigns.

To participate in various economic activities geared towards improving the standards of living among the people in low-income rural and urban centers.

GRCAI of Africa will offer private employment to our members based on our budget and sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for building bridges, roads, power lines, clean running water, agricultural technology, solar and wind energy to help our members with their electrical generators and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate the people about the problems with Capitalism. In time, we will expand to Brazil and specific places in the Caribbean such as Barbados, Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica.

The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian socialist organization into a real Black Christian Business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, my revised book (The Solution For Black America) second edition and now through my upcoming urban Christian film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.

It’s not my burden alone but rather a shared burden for I am just one black man with a vision and a plan, it takes a team to make a dream work. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be membership based. Everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
