Welcome to Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Podcast, my name is Emmanuel Barbee and I am your host. This evening we are celebrating (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement 28th Anniversary on Facebook Live from 8:00PM to 12:30AM Central Time. In order to give all of my group members in America and my international group members from around the globe an opportunity to participate in this webinar. We are excited about our upcoming film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America. I am asking all of my Christian friends worldwide to pray that the IRS will approve my nonprofit cooperative as a legitimate 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization in Jesus/Yeshua name. Once I receive a letter of approval then I can open up a business account at my bank and begin soliciting Angel Investors and Sponsors to invest $400,000 into my film project. The funds will go towards me hiring professional film crew and quality actors. The proceeds from my film and book sell will go towards me hiring Middle Class Black Professionals who will assist me with my Black Christian Business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute seeks to sustain a sense of national urgency about the senseless violence taken place within our inner cities in America. We will achieve this through journalism, our films, stage plays, community advocacy and through our media outlets and public forums.

Mission

To eradicate urban violence in Chicago through our programs and services. To tackle poverty, institutionalized racism and police brutality within the communities we will serve if given a chance.

To strengthen single black families while at the same time meet the social needs of the urban communities and families that want to utilize our programs and services if given a chance.

To rebuild Black Wall Street by providing an infrastructure for aspirating artist and upcoming black entrepreneurs in order to make our community better, healthier and safer.

To provide private employment to our clients/members based on our budget and our sponsorship.

To offer a second chance program for ex-offenders of non-violent crimes, former gang members and homeless individuals within the community.

To assist single black families that want to utilize our programs and services.

Under the Nonprofit Cooperative: GRCAI will be governed by an Advisory Board. GRCAI will be membership based and operated for the mutual benefit of our members. Also, any earnings we make are returned to our members in the forms of lower prices through our quality programs and services. Our members come first and we will be committed to providing reliable information.

Under the For Profit Service Based Business: we will offer state-of-the-art recreational center that will offer bowling, high ropes adventure courses, captivating game rooms featuring the latest video and amusement, stylish billiards, energetic dance rooms and high-quality restaurants, various businesses, onsite childcare and an onsite music recording studio for our students making documentary films and stage plays. In addition, we will host family fun activities including combination deals, birthday parties, weddings and corporate parties/events.

GRCAI main objective is to promote economic opportunities in the African American community by becoming an advocate and resource for our members. GRCAI will provide local food connections that are accessible through our cooperative grocery stores for our members. In all of our work we strive to educate and enlarge our audience of concerned citizens who care about solving black issues once and for all in America and throughout the African Diaspora.

It’s my hope that we can expand GRCAI to 10 cities throughout the Mid-West. I also plan on hiring African Immigrants in America to assist me in expanding my Christian business to 10 African nations and in time make our presence known in Brazil and throughout the Caribbean.

Our History

My name is Emmanuel Barbee I am the founder and president of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. I created (GRCAM) on November 10th 1991 on a site called Gopher because I was dissatisfied with all of the division taking place among Black People. I wanted to start a new movement in Black America in order to connect with other likeminded African Americans, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Canadians, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Europeans, African Immigrants and Native Africans throughout the African Diaspora.

We welcome all Christian denominations, Moderate Muslims, Secular People and Non-black sympathizers. This is an authentic black organization first and fore most. Our objective is to solve black issues once and for all in America and throughout the African Diaspora. Both my Christian groups and my Secular groups represent the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.

After 15 years of being rejected, humiliated and ignored by established black organizations in the city of Chicago I decided to write and publish my story (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition in hopes of attracting 30 Black Middle Class Professionals within the United States to join my management team in order to make this business effective and successful for years to come.

I want Black Middle-Class Professionals who have the following credentials: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist. I am also looking for legitimate Film Producers, Actors, Stage Managers, Grant Writers/Fundraisers, Technical Directors, Marketers, Accountants, Business Administrators, Social Workers, Financial Planners, Lawyers, Real Estate Brokers and Insurance Agents.

I have my articles of incorporation and my bylaws typed and available for my Nonprofit Cooperative. I also have my articles of organization typed and available for my For Profit Service Based Business. Yet to add insult to injury still to this day I don’t have anyone on my management team.

My message to Black Americans or African Americans the 400 years is up 1619 -2019. I offer something that no black leader has in America and that is a solution to solve all of our social problems in America if given a chance. My film is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.

African Americans have been marching and protesting for equal justice under the law for 52 years still to this day the financial elites refuse to give African Americans equal justice under the law best example is the Eric Garner verdict and the Trayvon Martin verdict. As long as African Americans remain in the United States there will be no equal justice under the law because of institutionalized racism, social inequality and police brutality.

My message is only to likeminded African Americans/Black Americans that it is time for us to realistically look at our options. We as Black Men can no longer protect our women and children in America. The black community nationwide is being gentrified. As long as we remain in America we will continue facing Convict Leasing/Prison Pipeline Industry, Institutionalized Racism, Police Brutality, Social Inequality and Urban Gentrification.
Working class and under class African Americans are living as 2nd and 3rd class citizens in America. We believe the only solution is for us to create an African plan while at the same time do what we can to improve our inner cities starting in Chicago. It’s time for us to seriously consider relocating to our ancestral homeland. We have no desire to “make America great again.” GRCAI is not here to fix America problems. We want to establish our own independent power base on the continent of our ancestors, for African descendants throughout the African Diaspora.

GRCAI will create satellite communities no different than the China towns that exist in American cities are satellite communities of China once the nation state is established. Black Americans need to know what it is like to control our own community from the bottom up. Until we do that we will always be at the mercy of the financial elites (See Flint, Michigan). GRCAI also focus on rebuilding the black community by rebuilding Black Wall Street in order to help empower our black youth with culturally relevant education, tutoring, mentoring, life skills, vocational training, entrepreneurship, drug/alcohol prevention and conflict resolution.

GRCAI will help advance the liberation of the Black Community through our educational programs, mass-mobilization, and the creation of a new system which will elevate the next generation of leaders. Our Entertainment component will celebrate art and highlight the best in black culture through films and stage plays. GRCAI will offer an infrastructure for our local artist and our black entrepreneurs. Our objective is to bridge the gap between black consumers and black business owners, to practice group economics, to rebuild Black Wall Street in order to have a healthier, safer, and self-sufficient black community.

Community Involvement

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will make an impact in the Black Community by providing at-risk youth quality programs and services in a safe environment. We will provide sports opportunities while offering such services in health, fitness and education. Our Community and Economic Development team will help empower underserved individuals, black families by developing comprehensive and holistic solutions that address the needs of the community we will serve. GRCAI will be committed to improving the lives of community residents by being an advocate. GRCAI will form cooperative alliances with organizations that have a similar vision as ours. Our objective is to build better communities by improving the quality of life in the communities we serve. We will provide free financial education to teens and adults, we want to give back in ways that have a meaningful and lasting impact.

It’s not my burden alone but rather a shared burden for I am just one black man with a vision and a plan, it takes a team to make a dream work. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this open platform is essential to the African American community and throughout the African Diaspora.

I want to earn credibility through my Christian business before we expand to 10 African Nations. I want my international friends who live in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda to encourage their governments to allow us to have citizenship within 3 years if they are serious about us doing business on the African continent. We as black people must move away from being tribal.

Please encourage your family and friends who reside in Canada, Europe and in the United States to purchase my revised book and for you as well read my story. Be in agreement with me that my book get on the best sellers list this year in Jesus name. My book is the foundation of my future Christian business. Those who agree with my plan/vision make yourself known to me I provide all of my contact information within the book. This will help speed up the process for us to recruit brave and smart African Immigrants in America to assist me in setting up chapters in Africa. We will go through the proper channels with their government to start our (NGO) Non-government organization.

We will offer private employment to our members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, offer solar energy to help our members with their electrical generators and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate the people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. In time, we will expand to Brazil and specific places in the Caribbean such as Barbados, Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Africa will be an effort to assist the diaspora in the ability to shop with, visit, invest in and relocation back to Africa. All of our products and services will be provided by skilled and professional Africans from around the continent. Before the internet connecting with businesses on the African continent had been a challenge. But now more than ever, it’s important for the Diaspora to make the connection physically and economically. GRCAI of Africa, will be there to help arrange your travel, welcome you upon arrival and assist with tours, translators and more.

The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian socialist organization into a real Black Christian Business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, my revised book (The Solution For Black America) second edition and now through my upcoming urban Christian film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be membership based. Everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora. This is more than just a new business endeavor it’s a new system.

Some of the tangibles or incentives I offer people on my friends list who interact with me are as follows: I assist people on my friends list and people in my social groups with creating basic websites, finding college scholarships/grants; housing; legal services all for free. I don’t ask for donations instead I encourage people on my friends list and people in my social groups to please support me by purchasing my revised book and read my story (The Solution For Black America) second edition.
