What makes GRCAM different from other Black Organizations? The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement focus on connecting with other like minded Millennials, Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean, Non-black sympathizers, all Christians regardless of denominations, moderate Muslims and secular people who are interested in working with me in turning my vision into a reality then please purchase my book and read my story.

In my book I provide a 21st century plan on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence in the city of Chicago and beyond while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families that want to utilize our programs and services. My book is the foundation of my Christian business.

After 15 years of being rejected, humiliated and ignored by established black organizations in the city of Chicago I decided to write and publish my story (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition in hopes of attracting 30 black middle class professionals and others within the United States who meet the criteria that I am looking for which are as follows: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist.

I am also looking for legitimate Film Producers, Actors, Stage Managers, Grant Writers/Fundraisers, Technical Directors, Marketers, Accountants, Business Administrators, Social Workers, Financial Planners, Lawyers, Real Estate Brokers and Insurance Agents. I have my articles of incorporation and my bylaws typed and available for my Nonprofit Cooperative. I also have my articles of organization typed and available for my For Profit Service Based Business. Once I have my management team in place then I will start my Christian business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago.

I am just one black man with a plan and a vision it takes a team to make a dream work. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future.

The Vision

To eradicate Urban Violence in the city of Chicago and beyond through our programs and services.

The Mission

To equip Black Entrepreneurs and provide an infrastructure for Local Artist to create wealth and transform our inner cities into flourishing communities for generations to come.

To strengthen the black family by offering a wide range of products and services designed specifically to help single black mothers and fathers that want to utilize our programs and services in the black community.

To connect our members with quality goods and services and help improve their quality of life.

To provide private employment to our members based on our budget and sponsorship

To offer a second chance program for ex-offenders for non-violent crimes, former gang members and homeless individuals in the community.

To expand to ten cities through the Mid West and ten countries in Africa.

As a distinctive, Christian socialist organization, centered in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will equip men and women to serve and lead with integrity, creativity, competence and compassion.

GRCAM aspires to be the best African American organization within the MidWest for all who seek to develop their full individual potential through a distinctive, innovative and dynamic environment of exploration, creativity and discovery for leading lives of servant-minded leadership.

Core Values as a Christian socialist organization, we value:

• Christian Faith: the Christian faith is an integral part of our community.

• The Individual: as a member of God’s creation, each person is unique and is blessed with inherent worth.

• Excellence: we strive for excellence in who we are and what we do.

• Integrity: our community demonstrates the accord between our beliefs and practices.

• Service: recognizing and addressing the needs of others is a response to God’s love for us, and a reflection of God’s love for them.

Technology has played a large role in getting our message out to the public through social media. Our objective is to provide friendly and reliable information people can trust. We give back to the community. We plan to hire local residents from within the community. In other words, your community is also our community. One which we deeply care about, and in which we have a vested interest.

GRCAM will provide a platform to support faith in the marketplace in the global economy by building a community that supports kingdom businesses. In addition to advertising their businesses, GRCAM active members will be able to:
Connect with our other Businesses and partners
Submit Job Postings.
Submit Request for Proposals
Spotlight at our local events and networking workshops/seminars

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will create our own media among the diversity of black people from Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean and ideas that reflect the black culture, including voices excluded from mainstream media. GRCAI wants to change the negative environment where neighbors can freely share their passions and talents with one another in a safe and secure environment.

Under the Nonprofit Cooperative: GRCAI will be governed by an Advisory Board. GRCAI will be membership based and operated for the mutual benefit of our members. Also, any earnings we make are returned to our members in the forms of lower prices through our quality programs and services. Our members come first and we will be committed to providing trusted and understandable information.

Under the For Profit Service Based Business: we will offer state-of-the-art recreational center that will offer bowling, high ropes adventure courses, captivating game rooms featuring the latest video and amusement, stylish billiards, energetic dance rooms and high-quality restaurants, various businesses, onsite childcare and an onsite music recording studio for our students making documentary films and stage plays. In addition, we will host family fun activities including combination deals, birthday parties, weddings and corporate parties/events.

GRCAI will create shorts films, documentaries and stage plays of all genres that demonstrate the rich diversity among the black community. We aim to become one of the most important cultural events for Chicagoans. It’s our hope to attract people throughout the Midwest to come to our local community festivals on the Westside and Southside of Chicago.

My organization will be membership based and everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
