(Chicago My City & My Story)

I watched an awesome documentary entitled Chicago At The Crossroad” which touch on the history of Chicago systematic segregation and housing policy. This is what I discuss in depth in my revised book (The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America) second edition.

I got tired of all of the division among Black People I wanted to start a new movement for Black People so I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher. I wanted to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America starting in Chicago. I also wanted to connect with other like-minded African Americans, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Canadians, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Europeans, African Immigrants, Afro-Latinos and Native Africans from around the globe.

After 15 years of being ignored, rejected and overlooked by small minded brothers and sisters as well as established black organization in Chicago and online I decided to write and publish my story. In my book I provide a 21st Century plan on how my Christian business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will help eradicate urban violence in Chicago while at the same time meet the social needs of the Black Community and strengthen the Black family.

I wrote my book for three reasons: One reason to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason is to promote my virtual Christian socialist organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. I use my online talkshow as a way to interact with people in my Christian groups & Secular groups to network on a global level. GRCAM is a revolutionary 21st Century Kingdom Building, Global Black Unity, and Black Empowerment in order to solve social problems within the Black Community and throughout the African Diaspora.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute objective is to become the heart of the Black Community on Westside of Chicago specifically in Austin, Garfield Park and North Lawndale.

Educators are staring to have discussions about race and discrimination more than ever. What makes my business different from other black businesses is that this is personal. None of my members will never have to endure what I experience just for trying to do something positive in the Black Community. This business is based on my experience we will heal collectively from this Willie Lynch mentality within the black culture. We will develop our own educational curriculum that is membership friendly. This business will not only raise awareness, but create a space and environment across communities to face and solve social issues that continue to leave the Black Community marginalized. To learn more about how to become part of my film project please send me your email address to my Facebook inbox to be on standby.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute, will make a positive impact in Chicago and in Africa. Our goal is to empower black youth and young adults who are challenged by street gangs and violence through visual arts, education and a safe environment. We will offer workshops/seminars centered around music, dance, graphic arts, computer technology, culinary arts, photography, spiritual development and black entrepreneurship.

GRCAI also plans on expanding to the Southside of Chicago and send scouts to help replicate the business in order to make Chicago a model for other cities in America. GRCAI will function in the areas of community co-op, community grocery stores, community healthcare and community housing. GRCAI will operate on two fronts a domestic front and on an international front.

On a domestic front within the United States:

To create a sense of national urgency about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America starting in Chicago. We will push for social change through our stories using media and advocacy. We will achieve this through our films, stage plays, journalism to change the narrative. We will strive to educate and enlarge our audience of concern citizens who care about solving black issues in America.

To eradicate urban violence in Chicago through our programs and services.

To tackle poverty, institutionalized racism and police brutality within the Black Community.

To promote economic opportunities in the African American community by becoming an advocate and resource for our members.

To offer a second chance program for ex-offenders of non-violent crimes, former gang members and homeless individuals within the community.

To provide programs and services to strengthen the black family by creating jobs and building a strong economic base.

To heal collectively from this Willie Lynch mentality in America and on the African continent heal from this colonized mentality.

To examine the Amish community, the Asian community and the Jewish community. So that we can practice group economics and form our own code of conduct.

To get our house in order first before we invite none black sympathizers into our space.

On an international front:

(GRCAI of Africa) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Africa plan on hiring African immigrants in America to encourage the Diaspora to set up a chapter in South Africa and eventually in 9 other African Nations Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda.

I am encouraging my international friends to put pressure on African governments to allow the Diaspora to have citizenship within 5 years if they are serious about us doing business on the African continent.

GRCAI of Africa will go through the proper channels with the African government to start our (NGO) Non-government organization. We are determined to work with our disadvantaged brothers and sisters in the society to improve and enhance the capacity for self-development.

To promote GRCAI of Africa to the African people

To fight against corruption To nurture young Africans by conducting mentorship programs and various youth activities across Africa

To promote education through establishing learning centers, book donations, publications to needy young people to enable them to achieve their academic goals.

To promote health among the people living in rural and low-income urban areas by organizing for medical camps and health awareness campaigns.

To participate in various economic activities geared towards improving the standards of living among the people in low-income rural and urban centers.

GRCAI of Africa will offer private employment to our members based on our budget and sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for building bridges, roads, power lines, clean running water, agricultural technology, solar and wind energy to help our members with their electrical generators and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate the people about the problems with Capitalism. In time, we will expand to Brazil and specific places in the Caribbean such as Barbados, Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica.

The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian socialist organization into a real Black Christian Business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I turned to social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, my revised book (The Solution For Black America) second edition and now through my upcoming urban Christian film (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago: The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.

It’s not my burden alone but rather a shared burden for I am just one black man with a vision and a plan, it takes a team to make a dream work. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be membership based. Everyone will be screen, must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
